Armond Sarkis is a versatile and results-oriented risk management professional who brings over 18 years of private and public sector risk management experience.
Before joining the City of Vallejo, Mr. Sarkis was the Risk Manager for the City of Torrance. His experience also includes management of public agency risk pools as he served as CEO/Risk Manager for the risk management JPA serving cities of Davis, West Sacramento, Woodland and the County of Yolo. He has a proven track record of implementing cost effective, innovative and comprehensive risk management programs for public entities and large national and international companies.
Mr. Sarkis is a graduate of the California State University, Northridge where he earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Finance. He is a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) and has an Associate in Risk Management (ARM) certification.
