Visiting City Hall

Security Screening

Vallejo staff makes every effort to ensure that visitors to City Hall have a safe experience. All visitors entering City Hall in Vallejo must undergo a security screening process.

Screening may also include a hand-wand inspection. The hand-wand inspection helps the screener to identify what may have set off the alarm on the metal detector.

If you are subject to a hand-wand inspection, you will be asked to stand with your feet apart and the screener will pass the wand over your entire body without actually touching you with the wand.

You must plan ahead and allow yourself enough time to get through the security screening process.
