Chief Goulding brings more than 25 years of fire service experience to Vallejo, including extensive leadership experience in emergency operations, training, fire prevention, and administration. Most recently, he served as Fire Chief for the City of Hollister Fire Department, where he led departmental operations and strategic initiatives focused on enhancing public safety and organizational excellence.
Throughout his distinguished career, Chief Goulding has demonstrated a commitment to professional development and leadership within the fire service. He is a certified State Fire Training Instructor and holds a Master’s Degree in Public Safety Leadership and Administration from Arizona State University, with a concentration in Executive Fire Administration.
The City of Vallejo and Vallejo Fire Department welcome Chief Goulding and look forward to his contributions as the department continues its mission of delivering professional, compassionate, and effective emergency services.
