Effective April 16, 2025, a new Sidewalk Vending, Peddler and Solicitor Ordinance (codifies as Chapter 5.02 of the Vallejo Municipal Code) requires Sidewalk Vendors, Peddlers and Solicitors permit to operate and sell merchandise within the public right-of-way, sidewalks or public parks.

Residential areas: roaming vending allowed 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.; stationary vending prohibited.

Parks: vending restricted if exclusive concessions exist or within 500 feet of water bodies or recreation structures.

Prohibited within 250 feet of schools during peak hours and 500 feet of permitted events or farmers markets.
