The Vallejo Police Department (VPD) is proud to introduce our 2022-23 Biennial Report. This report provides a comprehensive overview of the department's activities and highlights the progress made in policy enhancements, training initiatives, collaborative ventures, technological advancements in crime prevention, recruitment efforts, hiring processes, and obtaining essential grants to uplift underserved communities and foster a vibrant and safer Vallejo community.

The Vallejo Police Department (VPD) invites Vallejo residents and stakeholders to review and provide input to our Assembly Bill (AB) 481 Military Equipment Use Policy through May 5, 2024.

On March 31, 2024, at approximately 7:48 A.M., the Vallejo Police Department responded to a reported burglary that occurred in the 500 block of Georgia Street. The victim was on the premises at the time of the break-in. Upon arrival, officers determined that an unknown male suspect had burglarized the business, subsequently restraining and moving the victim against her will and then sexually assaulting her. The suspect remains unknown to the victim.

On March 16, 2024, at approximately 12:21 P.M., Vallejo Police Department (VPD) officers responded to a call for service to assist the Solano County Major Crimes Task Force in conducting a follow-up investigation at a residence located on the 2000 block of Garnet Circle.
